VIEW2 MY VIEW ABOUT PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION A self-reflective declaration of my beliefs about teaching and learning is referred to as a teaching philosophy. It expands on these concepts by providing particular, concrete examples of what the teacher and students will do to achieve those objectives. Then, a philosophy of education is a statement (or combination of statements) that identifies and clarifies an individual's or group's educational ideas, values and understandings. In any given situation, it should also help to motivate and lead educational planning, programmes and processes. Whenever people think about deep, fundamental questions concerning the nature of the universe and ourselves, the limits of human knowledge, their values and the meaning of life and they are thinking about philosophy. For me, philosophical thinking is found in all parts of the world, present and past. Philosophy is a term used in academia to distinguish one field of study from all others, such as science and the humanities.
